have u seen the video Hustler bhai?? beautiful..
very simply shot...simplicity lo beauty ante idenemo.. all the singers recording their bits in the studio..lata and asha sharing the mike, the ripe old d k pattamal with the recording phones and in the end...when arr in his trademark style goes jaya he looking up in the air with arms flung...superb !!!

I have found this album in raaga.com this evening while brwsing the site looking for good pop songs. Serendipity! What an album it is. Amazing.
All the great singers of our time came together and chanted jana gana mana. Arr composed for all the different versions sung by all the singers.
It was a joy for me seeing all the singers in one pack. The national anthem was sing by Asha bhonsle,lata mangeshkar,jagjith singh,bhupen hazarika, begum parveen sultana,saddiq khan laga and Hariharan.
The album also consists of intrumental compositions by pandit hari prasad chaurasia ,e.gayathri ,kumaresh and ganesh.
The album brought all the singing greats of all the regions (east,west,south and north). It was a great pleasure to hear all of them and believe me , after listening to this album you will definitely chant our national anthem. This album once again reminded me how sweet our national anthem is.
p.s:- This album has original rendition by Rabindranath Tagore. Dont miss it.
