Maa tv valla "Padalani undi" show recording ki audience pass dorikite vella mama. Last year semifinal round. Four of us went. Aa orchestra lo key board vayinche atanu maa friend ki close friend. Daggara undi teesukelladu.
Aa round recording mottam choosaa.. Aa round ki judge jamuna rani. Aavida eppudo okkappudu telugu cine singer. Avadani teesuku vachi judge cheste aavida full flat.. Almost kalla neellu pettukundi..
Intaki aa recording antaa without any break or reshoot, okesari record ayi poyindi. SPB didnt have anything written except names of singers and songs they are singing. Anta Spontaneous. His words were just like a flow without a break. I was amazed at SPB talent.. May be he got used to that by that time as he already conducted "Paadutaa teeyaga"
In the break that keyboard player introduced to us, we took photos, I talked to him about his programs, his songs, why is he reduced the songs, etc., I am a bigtime fan of SPB and told him telugu songs are no more telugu songs. He told its all time we cannot do anything about that. Also he came to my native many times and I asked about that. He told couple of incidents when he came to our native... He talked very nicely and politely. Asked our details. We thanked him for his time he spent.. And the recording of second half continued. |

RajaG: The next question is about live concert singing. We want to thank you as an excellent ambassador for the film world. As fans, we want you to carry back the message that all the genuine fans of music are disappointed and deprived by the concept of track singing and lip-syncing on stage. We feel that it is a great degeneration of values. We know that in your live concert you don't do that.
SPB: Actually, it is a deceit, you know. Why do people come to see a live performance? There is an adjective 'live' there. You see, they all very well know that you can't bring all the 30 pieces of instruments on stage, unless it happens to be a bigger music director. And they know that the people are bound to make mistakes and they don't mind it. They want to see the singer singing in flesh and blood and see how he interacts with the musicians on the stage. Those things make a big difference to the live audience. |

I also met SPB in person and found him a down to earth person. He talks excellently with everyone. Look at his answer about how his voice is so youthful
