I traveled on OPT but my F-1 was still valid then. If you look at your OPT card, it says in the bottom 'not valid for re-entry' or some such shit. so, if your F-1 is not valid anymore, better not travel.

Hi, Can anyone let me know what are the issues or problems of travelling to India on OPT status. As everyone know the fact of H1 rejections in Madras. How far is it good to make travel plans on an OPT status. Im doing job over here but i can file my H1 only in 2005-06 quota. Please advice. thanks |
