Tablet: a PC version of palm device.. you will be given a joy stick and can be used on 12.1 screen.
With tablet edition, you can scribe and it will generate documents. I have seen few times with Teasy dude.. it rocks.. he was using HP Tablet when i met.
and it is ergonomic... keyboard panel and screen panel ela aitey ala move cheyyochu. |

IBM and HP have few good 12.1inch screen sleek laptops in PC/tablet versions less than 4 pounds, sleek, powerful and looks damn good in looks too.
sony vaio too have few models.. but pretty high (2500 to 3000) than IBM thinkpad X series (these are the best in laptops). IMO, I go for Ibm thinkpad X series.

if u need it by dec end, then wait for some more time. u may get another 12.1 inch screen laptop from Dell by then with better quality.
In any case dont spend beyond 900 to 1000 for a dell laptop.
if you ready spend premium price Ibm X series it comes for 1500+ bucks. |

it is instant rebate...
if u have plans of upgrading further RAM.. go for 1 DIMM of 512MB... It costs much as u are buying from Dell.
6 cell battery full charged usually lasts more than 2.5 hrs if you watch movies. They advertize it works for 3+ hrs.. it never did.. my d600 is 8 cell battery and it comes hardly 2.5 hrs. |
