I agree with the fact that moderatorss should be more accountable. Thats what we try to be. But often posters dont undestand issues and get carried away by situations. One Moderator(who is bewarse to the core and rarely follows cine section)was online during Gandhi thread and edited few starting posts, ofcourse he didnt knew the seriousness of the thread, after editing first 3 posts... he had some work and had to leave. Other MOD who came at a different time (myself) after 20 minutes, after looking at the first post in both threads(one opened on gandhi and the other on NTR) immediately moved both threads to restriction section.. I had to also move 1-2 threads(opened against moderators) avoid further problems, I moved nadendla thread based on its title(which i thought offensive).. since I didnt have much timeleft to look through the matter in link, i went by my instincts. I later realised its a mistake and planned to get it back.. but by then GG opened other thread.I would like to reiterate that the person who edited posts in Gandhi thread is genuine, and is not a fan of NTR ..but since he is a bewarse he didnt realise the seriousness.. the fault on his part is to leave the job in the middle to pursue his work. Now if you think its my fault to move both threads... then i accept it. But one should realise that.. this is the one of very few times when a offensive thread was not deleted due to bad time-management. I hope fellow bewarse posters will undestand the issue/matter here. Moderators are made considering that they are free for most of the time...but some times they get sudden work and have to leave. Thats what happened today. Everyone came out with their own ideas regarding moving threads and blamed Moderators. we accept our responsibility.... but at the same time by opening numerous threads against us you are not making us comfortable and some moderators are even feeling guilty for no mistake of theirs. kindly consider

How to become a Mod and act like a Mod}

1) Shud be a pakka bewarse. No worth while thing to do in life. Can spend 24*7 in DB.
2) They shud be in read-only mode. Never post.
3) Shud be neutral in judgement (can be fan on anyone)
4) Shud be knowledgable and authoritative. Shud have guts to convince someone that hez wrong.
5) Be tolerant depending on nature of posts. Give sufficient time to users to mend their ways.

II mama, nenu choosesariki almost 60+ posts undinayyi. my angst was with the MODs not with the users. when I know that a board is moderated, I expect something.

btw, NTR b'day appudo, krishna b'day appudo evaro doola gallu boothu threads start chesaru. 10 posts kooda padaka munde egiripoyayi. that's the way to be. and when I dont see that happening with Gandhiji, I get PISSED OFF. mahaaa pissed off.

Really sad part was that Gandhi thread was only deleted when some one opened a thread on NTR.
If mods would have deleted that Gandhi Thread before 20 posts this would not have happend.

Honestly, I feel quality ppl are leaving the DB

( those who left are not saints btw. they did abused others and opened up provoking threads. staying or going is not in the hands of MODS)
