reviving with some more of Leno's cracks *********** # The big story in Washington is that the Bush administration is desperate to find Osama bin Laden before the election. They are said to be using all means possible to find him. In fact today they typed his name into Google – which is a start. # Earlier today Howard Dean debated Ralph Nader. Why?! # John Kerry says that John Edwards is ready to be vice president. Ready? It takes a blue suite and pulse to be ready! # And we know that Dick Cheney proved that you don’t even need the pulse. # Some members of the Republican leadership are urging President Bush to drop Dick Cheney from the ticket. Dick Cheney says that he will be replaced over his dead body. Then the Republican leadership responded – "Hey we can’t wait until next Thursday. We got to move now!” # Republicans are also looking for ways to boost President Bush’s approval rating. They might have him land on an aircraft carrier wearing a Spiderman costume. # The Tour de France is going on right now. This could be the sixth time that Lance Armstrong rolls into Paris. Which the Germans only did that twice. # Tommy Chong is on the show tonight. He flew in on the red eye. # He brought a clip with him – a roach clip, but it’s a clip. # Tommy has been released from prison. He’s here tonight to tell his story. I think he got screwed. He feels that the government used him as an example to high profile celebrities. If you sell a bong you go to jail. If you murder your wife – hey don’t worry about that. # John Tesh turned 50 today. His wife gave him a present so that he could listen to his music in their home – an elevator. ************* # Have you been following the trial of Saddam Hussein? In an angry bitter tone, Saddam Hussein claimed he is the real president of his country and denounced George W. Bush as nothing more than a criminal. No, I’m sorry, that was Al Gore. # Today the Bush administration announced that gas prices have fallen for the sixth week in a row, and we can expect an continued downward trend . . . Yeah, right through, what, oh I don't know, maybe election day? # Well good news for John Edwards, it’s been 24 hours and John Kerry hasn’t changed his mind…..so it’s going to hold…it’s still holding… # Let me tell you something – this Edwards guy is going to be trouble for the Bush-Cheney ticket. He’s charismatic so that’s going to hurt Cheney and he can talk so that’s going to hurt Bush. # I want to see the vice presidential debate. I want to see the between John Edwards and Dick Cheney. It’s going to look like Dennis the Menace debating Mr. Wilson. # Here’s something interesting – it now turns out John Kerry is twice as rich as previously thought. Remember they thought his wife was worth $500 million? Turns out now she’s worth almost a billion! Today President Bush said, see this is proof his tax cuts are working. # That explains why Kerry picked Edwards. Kerry is worth a billion and Edwards is worth $50 million so this way they represent both the haves and the really haves. # Today in Pamplona, Spain, the annual running of the morons got underway. The idiot running of the bulls, or, as the bulls call it, "revenge of the Atkins Diet.” # Let’s see what’s going on in sports. The Lakers still don’t have a head coach. But hey, don’t have a team either so it doesn’t make any difference. # Bill Clinton’s book, god bless him, is even flying off the shelves here in Los Angeles. Which is amazing, cause people here don’t read. Normally the only time books fly off shelves here is during an earthquake. |

DB mama, I know letterman can be very sarcastic and he is equally emotional too. talks a lot about his family matters, cried on national TV after 9/11 ( new york anuko ). infact after johnny carson's exit, both lman and leno had a fight of succession. I assume u know all this but when I talk to old timers, ppl say lman started off better but for the past 5 years, Leno has taken over. I've been watching only recently, hence my bias. I also think Jon stewart is good, also kilbourn 'can' be good.

simple gaa seppaali ante LENO gaadu MASS Letterman CLASS. But the power and respect Letterman wields is legendary, no messinga round with him. his ideas are a bit olfworld and he doesnt take no BS. oka sari wayans brothers ni oka range lo football aadaadu. kimcatrall of sex and the city fame ni literal edipicnhaadu, she couldnt take it, kalla lo neellu thuduchukundi. he can be very very sarcastic. but popular entertainment is LENO. he is more censored on what he can do, the BUSH jokes he played caused barbara bush to come on the show once and show him the type of pretzel which bush gagged on. literally appatnunchi LENO stopped jokes on BUSH's family. chala story undi letterman vs leno discuss cheyaali ante Bewarsetalk.com.... singh bhaiyya, cannot agree with you here. making hosts comfy etc, maybe letterman is slightly better but then Leno's the one that gets the true people out. one thing I noticed was that Leno is more comfortable with men and seems to strike an instant rapport with them while he's just ok with women. but timing, jokes lo mathram letterboy aint no match to Leno.

Very bad. Letterman the better host w.r.t Leno(with no disrespect). Jay Leno is not as well read and insightful as Letterman. Letterman is a genious when it comes to making people speak and has the command to elicit answers. Though JL is a democratic sympathizer he is for the younger generation, BTW( Jaywalking SUCKS!!!!). It is Letterman when it comes to depth, insight, respect and better guests. Chalam Sodara, will support my staments in a later post. Singh. BTW, we discussed this issue at great length in IBDB abou 50-60 posts,( Myself, Jam and some others). Let me see if I can find it so that we can save time.

I remember seeing one of his shows ( saw only 2 ), where some lady guest directly asked him 'so, it seems your show is a take-off on some very famous american late night show ?', she was trynig to screw him. manodi reply 'mujhe kisise kuch LENO denaa nahi hai' couldnt help appreciating the timing.

LOL chalam..pretty hilarious..he's my favrt too.. he’s the only guy in the world who has three different versions of his life story. One for him, one for Hillary, one for the grand jury. These women say the harassment made them feel even cheaper than the crap they were selling at Wal-Mart. That’s how you know Hillary was mad…they had separate bedrooms and she still made him sleep on the couch! Today Monica Lewinsky was not sympathetic. She said if Bill thought the couch was uncomfortable, he should try getting under that little desk. vesukuntunnadu kadha clinton ni..

asalu veedi timing, knack too good. letterboy, o'brian andaru baladoor. Leno # Here’s a wonderful story – you probably heard about this….the wife and daughters of Yankees pitcher Jose Contreas escaped from Cuba by boat yesterday and were reunited with the Yankee pitcher. And luckily Contreas meets the three requirements for his family to stay in America: a fastball, a curveball, and the slider. # Have you heard this rumor Shaq may go to the Dallas Mavericks. Oh man, you thought his rap album was bad, what’s his country western music going to be like. Oh my God! # More bad news does not stop for Lakers fans. In the past few days we learned Coach Phil Jackson is gone; Shaq wants out; we learned that Kobe opted out of his contract; and today the worst news of all for Lakers – Gary Payton is coming back! # The big story continues to be President Clinton’s best selling book. On the news tonight they interviewed Clinton’s editor. Editor? The book is 957 pages long! What the hell did he edit? # The book is huge. And actually, it folds out into a bed. # The "New York Post” is reporting today that Clinton now feels he has two more autobiographies left to write. That’s what I love about Clinton – he’s the only guy in the world who has three different versions of his life story. One for him, one for Hillary, one for the grand jury. # In the book, Clinton says that "in politics, if you don’t toot your own horn, it usually stays untooted.” And if you get someone else to toot your horn, you get impeached. # In his book, Bill Clinton talks about the point where Hillary started to laugh again. It was when he told her "Look, I’ll never cheat on you again. I promise.” Apparently she got hysterical. # Former President Ronald Reagan’s son, Ron Reagan Jr., has attacked President Bush saying he made a terrible mistake in Iraq. President Bush is furious – he said, "What does the son of a former president know about Iraq?” # The justice department announced today that they are rewriting the guidelines on torturing prisoners. You know what was wrong with their first memo on torture. People found out about it. # Earlier this week, Ralph Nader named his running mate. It’s Green Party activist Peter Camejo. Camejo is actually a Spanish word that means "no votes”! # A judge has ok’d class-action lawsuit against Wal-Mart that claims 1.6 million current and former female workers were discriminated against. These women say the harassment made them feel even cheaper than the crap they were selling at Wal-Mart. Wednesday Night June 23 Leno # (opening to show) What a crowd! You sound as happy as Bill Clinton's book publisher. # It’s only been out a day, Bill Clinton’s book is already number one on the "New York Times” bestseller list. The book is called, "My Life...As A Dog." # It’s a fascinating read, this Clinton book, in the book he claims he led a double life. There were 2 Bill Clintons. Bill Clinton claims he led a double life. He was kind of like Dr Jeckyl and Mister Hyde the salami! # In the book, Clinton reveals one night when he was five or six years old back in Arkansas. His step dad fired a gun in the house but it didn’t hit him or his mother. So it looks like this bad aim thing runs in the family. # The most quoted thing in the book is where Clinton talks about after the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke, he slept on the couch for two months. That’s how you know Hillary was mad…they had separate bedrooms and she still made him sleep on the couch! # Today Monica Lewinsky was not sympathetic. She said if Bill thought the couch was uncomfortable, he should try getting under that little desk. # By all accounts today in every political journal, John Edwards is the number one pick to be John Kerry’s vice president. Can you imagine the debate between Dick Cheney and a trial lawyer like Edwards — one guy has spent his career in an ambulance, the other guys has spend his career chasing it. # Earlier this week, presidential candidate Ralph Nader named a running mate. He had to do this because if Ralph Nader becomes president then… oh what am I talking about. He’s not going to become president. # In a card filled out by Hussein for the Red Cross, under occupation Hussein wrote, "President of the Republic of Iraq”. And you thought Al Gore had a hard time dealing with the reality he lost to Bush. # It’s Wednesday or as they call that in Illinois senate candidate Jack Ryan’s campaign, hump day. # A Texas jury just found the man who streaked the Super Bowl halftime show guilty. In a sign of the times you know why he said he streaked? "Because he could.” # In the new "Alexander The Great” movie Colin Farrell plays Alexander as a bisexual. So half the time he’s Alexander The Great, half the time he’s Alexander The Fabulous! |
