Police should be able to find your SUV, I don't think it is a big problem for police. But anyway, you can apply for each of the documents you mentioned. Only things that can't be re-produced is the memories. If you have any photo album, awards, gifts from close ones etc.
Other govt. docs are re-producable. One of my friend also lost everything in flight (luggage bag missed). He got everything from respectuive dept. in 6 m - 1yr time.
for passport, if you have copy of that then take to Indian consulate near you, you get passport issued in 2-3 business days. For H1 call your employer and ask him get duplicate from lawyer and you need re-submit for stamping. That I think now can be done in only India.

i have all my imp documents like
SSN - can apply again. do u remember ur ssn no?? thats enough
passport - if u know ur passport number and have a copy of it somewhere (sure u can find with ur lawyer who applied ur H1 this is not a problem
Education Documents - if originals and from India. again not a problem but need time and money
H1's - call ur lawyer. they can apply for duplicates
Tax Documents - if u filed ur taxex using some software then u can call them and ask them to give the details. afterall they are just printouts.
Credit Reports - call them again to get the reports
Laptop - wish i have ur laptop. sorry no idea.
Everything WHAT NOT - u still have all of your DB friends with you and your willpower. So nothing is lost and good luck

ssn problem undadu, you must rememebr the number call the soc sec office and let them know.
passport, apply for duplicate with the nearest indian consulate near you.
tax docs and paystubs i think you can procure copies from your payroll people it shouldnt be a problem.
visas nothing can be done you have to get reissued again.
above alldo you have any copies of these docs else where.
and above all are you fuckin living in your car, what were you doing with all those docs in your car.

I am currently moving from one job to another.On the way I stopped at my friends apartment last night.
Today morning, I found my car to be missing. Called the corresponding towing company of the aparmnent complex but no luck. Somebody stole my SUV. Called 911 and filed a case.called insurance company and loan holder.

I have all my imp documents like SSN, passport, Education Documents, H1's, Tax Documents all in the car, Credit Reports, Laptop,Everything WHAT NOT.
Anybody in this situation or whose friends have been in this situation please advise me:
1. I have already opened a FRAUD ALERT through EXPERIAN and cancelled all credit credits.
But what about the SSN, PASSPORT Visa stampings, TAX Documents, Paystubs etc???
Your help will be deeply appreciated. Kindly do not post any sympathy words. Instead tell me what I need to do
