Sympathy for Vajpayee?? What for?? Do you think RAYALASEEMA districts of CUDDAPPAH, KURNOOL, ANANTHAPUR have big following for these Vajpayee and BJP?? Do you think these SRIKAKULAM, VIJAYANAGARAM have sympathy on this Vajpayee and BJP.
It's very simple logic. Till 1999 people have seen just 4 year of CBN's rule. But by now they have seen 9 long years and added to it is this drought. For any ruling party they are enough to bring down.
Coming to funds required for free power, YSR has just won in the state and what ever he talks will be believed for a while. People like our own DB members are ready to believe news papers like VAARTHA and disbelieve papers like EENADU just for a while. Yendukante vinnav kadaa patha sametha "KOTTOKA VINTHA, PATHOKA ROTHA"!!
Konni rojulu(may be an year) wait chesthe anni clear avuthay. Prasthutaniki Congress cloud 9 lo undi probably for the 1st time after many many years.

Ayana 94 electionslO mysura reddigArini muncADani vinikiDi (supporting vIraSivA reDDi). vOTami anEdi mahA mahulakE tappalEdu. indira gAndhi, ntr lAnTi mahAmahulE ODipOyAru. one of the elections (i am not sure which one) he won with a meagre majority of 3000 in his own constituency (atleast ntr and indira lost which are not their native constituencies as far as i remember). he didn't contest from any other constituency other than pulivendula assembly or cuddapah parliament.
