What varma said about the movie is 100% true that if the movie is good people will watch it any time u release it. If it is not good no mater whenever u release it it will fail. |

Varma is least bothered about the success rate. He looks for commercial success. He turned out to be a good businessman, and his movies are not of poor quality. So, I do no think there will be any problem if Veer-Zaara becomes a hit. Naach will atleast turn out to be an average grosser. Since, Varma's films are usually made on low budget..he can be calm and cool. Venkyfans.com |

Yash Chopra and Ram Gopal Varma are going ahead with the release of their films — Veer-Zaara and Naach respectively — on the same day. Though the industry feels it’s a silly move on Varma’s part, cos you can’t battle a Shah Rukh Khan film given the excelelnt run the superstar has had of late, Varma is not one bit worried. “People want to know why I’m braving Naach with a film as big as Veer-Zaara. But there’s nothing brave about my decision. I just don’t see it that way. I know Yash Chopra is a far superior filmmaker than me, and Shah Rukh Khan is a far bigger star than Abhishek Bachchan. My argument is, Naach won’t work if it isn’t liked even if we release it as a solo release. I can’t believe the audience won’t see two films if they liked both. Naach is a very low-cost film. Far fewer people have to like my film for it to be a success. Even as a viewer I’d prefer to see Veer-Zaara first. Then if I like it I’ll see it thrice and then go and see Naach. I’m happy with that. I don’t believe the ticket-buying capacity of the audience has decreased. It all depends on the audiences’ interest level.” |
