always been a big fan of joaquin phoenix, he has a streak of self destruction in him, guess could relate to him pretty well, differrent movie from him but the same self destruction is ineveitable though for a good cause.
the movie basically revolves around a fireman of the Baltimore fire department starting from the his first day as a rookie, his bonding with his fellow firefighters, the love of his life, his wedding, his kids and to the conflicts of everyday life, a loss of a dear friend in the line of duty.
credits : Joaquin did a good job, though it may be iam a lil biased toward him, john travolta brings the energy he usually does with his screen presence. decent action sequences, some good laughs.
