Hemanth... i understnad ur anger. But piracy and etc.. all comes when it is not in reach to common man. Producers are ignoring that big time hence all these shit.... I too support the cause for stopping piracy... and i feel ths can be controlled by producers and exhibitors are serious on this. Without their involvment piracy can not happen.

produce movies at reasonable prices and screen them at reasonable prices... obviously more people tend to watch the movie... change the revenue sharing mechanisms in theatres to avoid huge losses...

You know hindi movie industy spends crores on the film based on the business it does country wide and international, TV and audio and remake rights in mind.
We spend almost same amount of money on a regional film with average/flop/hit talk with regular/above average theme/remake movie earning such high end budget revenues are possible?
our overseas market ento neeku telsu, mana TV, DVD market range anni telsi... how can we expect such high revenues?
think about it... once... we in AP are not rich state to spend luxuries on movies at higher prices if thse guys increasing prices everyday...

Budget flops and Cost failures
Some of our budget-craze producers/directors/actors seem to have forgotten simple economics that govern the outcome of a film being a hit/flop. It is just a commonsense that if you make a film under 5 crores, you would deliver a blockbuster even if it collects a share 8 crores. If you make a film over 15 crores, then that film would become a blooper even if it collects a share of 14 crores. Certain films are being termed as budget flops or cost failures even before the release of the films because of high budgets. Cutting the hero/director's remunerations and limiting the wastage of production days would eventually bring down the budget, which in turn would make a film become commercial hit though it has got average talk. Every producer/director/hero seems to know these simple economics, but most of them are forgetting when it comes to making their own films.
