Telangana was added to the CMP just becos TRS is supporting the govt with 5 MPs. Dont think they are any thing really serious about it.

Good questions. But there is certainly no information available to public to claim that HE HAS'NT VOICED OUT HIS OPINIONS TO THE CONCERNED MINISTRIES ON THE IMPORTANCE OF FISCAL DISCIPLINE. I would say that his limitations as a buearocrat would have enabled him to visualize the perils associated with both the executive and legislative wings of the government better! No wonder he demanded functional autonomy and unilateral support for his actions from the then Prime Minister P.V.N. before taking up his job! |

Buddies,
Here lot of us tout Man Mohan as a champion of reforms? But how many of us analyze, he was also part of the mess created before he became the Finance Minister. He was RBI governer and Chief advisor to Finance and Prime Minsters before he became the Finance Minister?
We never ask a question, whether he advised his leaders to go for reforms before he becoming FM?
If he did advise, why didn't they listen to him?
He is a specialinst in International Trade? Then why didn't he think that, keeping Rupee artificially high was not good for economy?
Was he not responsible for the country's financial mess?
He did go for reforms beause there was no other option? And we say he is great and BS?
The problem with our country is this we never analyze and ask about past actions?
Just think??? |

"After Sonia Gandhi declined to accept the post, this is the best development for the Congress, the country and for carrying on Congress' programmes," Chidambaram said.
Asked if he would be the next Finance Minister, Chidambaram declined to comment saying, "this question should be put to the PM."
Chidambaram said he was confident that this Government would be "clean, transparent, efficient and progressive and committed to the welfare of the people of India."
