2. Establishing Mandal system (decentralizing from gross root level) which benefitted villages a lot..
3. Abolishing liquor in the state.
4. Starting up and taking special care in Nims which is known as one of the top most medical institutions now in India.
5. Starting a separate university for ladies..
6. Streelaku aasthi hakku..
7. Abolishing donation system in the state so that eligible people only will get the seats.
8. Concentrated a lot on tourism as well. Took the initiative in chaning the look of Hyderabad by coming up with Tankbund, buddha vigraham etc. Also, planned for the ropeway from Tirupathi to Tirumala which unfortunately didn't start..Changed Tirumala a lot...
9. Was the most successful CM till date where by there is no communal violence in Hyderabad (which used to be quite common) in his regime.
10. Pedalaki pakka gruhaalu kattatam lo All India record.. (I can't recall the numbers)
11. Implemented Madhyana bhojan pathakam for poor children, unfortunately which had to be removed later..

13. Thrived hard for the identity Telugu language and Telugu People.. Before he came in, northies used to call us as Madrasies (even now some people call us as Madrasies) and he stressed hard on self respect of telugu people and bringing an identity to Telugu people.
14. Holds a guiness record for starting a party and bringing it to power in record 9 months..
15. Won 3 times in the elections and lead his party to the victory.. 1983, 1985 and 1994 and surprisingly, the number of seats of TDP increased with each elections 1983<1985<1994 each time with over 200 seats.. Lost in 1989 with all time state lowest margin of just 2.3%
16. Has a unique record where by the only CM who was bought back to power on public demand (Sept, 1984)..
17. Holds a unique record where by his party became the 2nd largest party in the parliament after Cong-I (1984). The feet which never happened in Indian political history.. But, he rejected the then deputy prime minister(1989) since his party lost in A.P. Was the default choice for Prime minister ship in 1996 parliament elections for the United Front but unfortunately died 4 months before the election..
19. Has ruled the Telugu Film Industry for more than 3 decades.. Still, he is so popular and even nearly 10 years after his death, his mention brings ruptures in the theatres.. He is the most popular hero telugu film had ever seen..
20. The most versatile actor (for that matter, in whole India) who can do justice to any role.. Can you show anyone who is successful in protraying both Rama and Ravan roles, Krishna and Duryodhana roles.. The reason I'm specifically mentioning about these 4 roles because they're completely different from one another (Rama * Ravana, Krishna * Duryodhana) and I haven't seen anyone as successful as NTR in doing equal justice for all the roles..
21. Speaking of his box office success will be a long story and the single phrase "He is the most successful commercial hero" explains everything..
22. Apart from actor, he is a successful painter, director, story writer, producer, editor etc. He is a one man show..
23. He came from a very normal back ground and had phenominal success in both movies and politics.. His dedication, commitment, hard work need not be mentioned again..
24. Politicians/partys/actors/people refer to NTR's name even now (almost 10 years after his death) just explains why he is still that popular
