peLLikoDuku directed by bApu starring naresh is a remake of the movie bangAru piccuka also directed by bApu.
mohabbat starring anil kapoor, vijayeta panDit is a remake of peLLi cUpulu starring chandramOhan and vijayaSAnti was directed by bApu (i am not sure who directed the telugu version).
sItamma peLLi starring mOhanbAbu was remade into hindi in bapu's direction as pyari behna starring mithun.

But Bapu id remake movies like Jaaki with Sobhan Babu. He remade many of his telugu successful movies in Hindi

marocaritra was first made in telugu and then in tamil by balachander...he dint direct it in hindi...but he has directed lots of his movies in both tamil and telugu like bale kodallu, bomma borusu, etc...and one other director who dint go for remakes is krishna vamsi. Except chandralekha which he did it reluctantly, he doesnt go for remakes |

I think Bapu's last movie is Pellikoduku with Naresh not with ALi. Doubt whether he directed any movie with Ali as hero.
Also now he is make Radhagopalam with Srikanth as hero. Thats not remake.

balachander i have no idea. Did he direct hindi marocharitra?? ek duje ke liye???
vamsy Yes. I dont remember any of his remake movies.
however pointing out a few person for doing few remakes in entire career does not make sense i think. Strictly personal opinion |

yes ramu mama, u are right...sorry for the wrong info...i hav watched the hindi version many times on tv...padmini kolhapuri did very well in that role...radhika is perfect choice for this kind of
roles in telugu...i dont know who has acted in tamil version but i think urvasi is good chioce
...btw, the song "chitikeyave chinnadana chindeyave thandana" is from this film only, right? |

it is a remake of bhagyaraja's tamil movie. later it was remade into hindi with anil kappor as woh sath din. naseeruddin shah played Sarat bAbu's role and padmini kolhapuri(?) played radhika's role. |
