Very poor and BAD reaction from BUSH.
In a statement, U.S. President Bush called Arafat's death "a significant moment in Palestinian history.
"We express our condolences to the Palestinian people. For the Palestinian people, we hope that the future will bring peace and the fulfillment of their aspirations for an independent, democratic Palestine that is at peace with its neighbors.
"During the period of transition that is ahead, we urge all in the region and throughout the world to join in helping make progress toward these goals and toward the ultimate goal of peace

but he is a an UNDISPUTABLE LEADER of the state of Palestine and an prime example of a good leadership qualities around the world.

Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat died early Thursday at a French military hospital where he was being treated for a blood disorder, Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat said. Arafat, 75, was taken to the suburban Paris hospital nearly two weeks ago for treatment. He had been on a respirator since slipping into a coma November 3. A hospital spokesman said he died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday ET.
