Even though this movie might not be a commercial hit, it is one of my favorite movies of Balayya.Some of you might not agree with me, I liked NippuRavva more when compared to the same day released BangaruBullodu.This is the most highly waited,expected from Balayya till date and this movie had one of the highest openings in Telugu Film history. This is one of the some other movies of Balayya where by bad last 30 mins impacted the commercial success of the movie.The first half is terrific with 3 good action episodes(Escaping from the jail episode, Water ganulloki vacchi explode ayye scene, car chase before interval etc).Even all the songs are good. My pick is the first song of the move "vachesindi vachesindi baboi ", hearing wise and lyrics wise
"Randi kadali randi nidura lendi" this song is very good. I felt very disappointed for this movie not becoming success. NBK performed life risking stunts in the water exlosion scene and the fight on train scene(this was touted as one of the highlight of the movie but was removed in movie because of excessive length, I saw the pictures of this scene in Sivaranjani magazine and they're mind blowing). |

the movie failure major reason is
there is some sort of dispute between nbk and vijayashanti regarding production cost
rumor is that vijayashanti refused to give money
when movie is half completed ,as u know it is joint
production of nbk and vijayashanti
this lead to late relase of the movie
if everything has gone right the movie would have
relased in early months of 1993
after this movie nbk stoped working with vijayashanti (as all know nbk never like to work with ppl whome he has disputes once aswinidutt,chinnikrishna are better examples)
may be he has changed his principle little bit now and agreed to work with soundarya,s.gopalreddy with whome he had disputes once
so clash of bangarubullodu and nippuravva
is due to delay in nippuravva release because of proudction disputes |

Thanks for the URL Ramu garu. I had great expectations about this movie and the movie is not up to expectations and however the movie may not be complete diappointment due to some good action scenes. I like 2 to 3 action scenes very much from this movie i.e. water comes and explodes and the other scene with sumos where police trying to arrest NBK. The initial ambition of producers to make a great movie dropped in between. Bappli Hari music is a big let down and the producers used AR Rahman for background score. Had they taken enough care, it would been another NN or SSR. |
