2) Reduction of course load work ani oka clause undhi, nenu maa Univ International Center lo kanukkonna. Adhi entante reduced work load A) Due to health reasons B)English language prob, this 2nd one I am not sure. C)Towards graduation ayithe, only project/Research migili pothe Advisor letter tho teesukovachu.
Reason 'C' veelukakpothe, reason 'A' try cheyamni cheppu. Dept chair tho matladi Health reasons edhiana cheppi ee semester gattekka mani cheppu.
Actual ga ye reason ayina registration dead line lopu International center ki telapali by submitting" reduced course load form'. Ippatike late ayiuntundhi.
so entha twaraga Advisor/Dept Chair & International Student advisor tho matladithe antha manchidhi. Valle ee vishayam lo help cheyagalaru.
International Student advisor tho matladithe valle cheputaru yeye loop holes unnayo, ila reduced courses teesukovadaniki. When I met my School International Student advisor, she showed me a book with all the details. Kaani chala rojulu ayyindhi so anni gurthu levu.
But health reason matram baga gurthu undhi.

U can take 1 credit hour or 2 or 3 in the last semester (semester where one is finishing his/her course work). Remaining semesters atleast 9. With TA/RA atleast 6. |

TA ship vunte 6 hours of course work is enough. Lekunte atleast 9 credit hours register avvali (till he completes his course work). 8 credit hours regsiter ayina out of status. INS is taking these matters seriously these days. One of my friend went to India without registering courses in one semester. While coming back they didn't allow him to board the place (systems lo real time update avutundi).
Ur friend is in real danger. Ask him to register back those 2 courses immed (if possible), else he would be deported.

Endhukante appatiki coures work mostly ayipothundhi & then you can take signature from advisor stating that only research is remaining and can enroll in less number of credits like 1 or 2 credits.
Student must submit UnderEnrollmentForm In the beginning of the semester. Normally advisors sign these froms in the above said situation.

If your friend did this in first semester, it will be little difficult to justify. He might not be having advisor. So he has to take form from Dept chair. |

For any international student you must register as full timer. That is 9 credit Hrs( ~ 3 courses).If no course work then students register for Research hours to maintain status.Other wise you will be out of status.
If any student wants to enroll in less number of credits than 9 credits, then he/she must submit a form (in UNiv International center)signed by Advisor stating the reason, in the beginning of every semester.
I think your friend should contact his UNiv Interenational Center & they will solve this problem. But his advisor must sign the form for less number of credits.
Generally School International Student center staff will be very helpful, so ask him to contact them. |

aina last moment lo dropping enti babai.. kaasta kashtapadi sadavamani seppu..
as far as i know, u can be under enrolled for only one semester and it differs from university to university. He needs to go to the International affairs office and fill out an under-enrollment form. Once he does that, a new I20 will be issued. The only disadvantage of being under-enrolled is it keeps him busy in the graduating semesters.

should not get 2 F
should work towards graduation .something like that
3.0 kanna thakkuva aithei - Grad school will keep stud in probation for 1 sem and at max to 2 sems on request.
2 F lu voshtei, this stud can never acheive 3.0 in his lifetime(Gradtime) in that school. So will be kicked out without second thought.
