Surprisingly the common moviegoer, who expects only entertainment, received the movie very well. Response is too good in second show. During the morning show Nagfans who not only expect entertainment but also box-office records were bit confused in conveying their reactions. This movie provides you roller coaster ride with emotions, thrills, frills and songs. If all the emotions brought classy outlook to the movie then all the thrills and mass items injected the necessary mass kick into the movie. One can’t label it as a mass movie. Even the mass elements are very well wrapped under classy wrapper. Second half is the highlight. Feel good factor prevails in the second half. This makes you feel happy when you come out of the theater. We are very much thankful to all the Nagfans across the world in enabling us to bring the live updates and flash information on a Nagarjuna movie for the first time in Tollywood. Nenunnanu and Nagfans share this credit. Music and Dances: 1) Nenunnani – This song comes in bits at apt times creating perfect plot to the emotions in background. First it comes during titles and then repeatedly comes in second half. Placement of this song at right time carries you to different heights. 2) Ryali ravulapadu – This song picturised on Nag, Anitha, Ali, Shivareddy and Brhamanandam comes after an hilarious cricket scene. Anitha, who is limited to this song looks different and teases youth. It may not be surprising to see Anitha flooded with the offers for doing similar type of item songs. 3) Maha Ganapathim – This is a surprise song picturised on Shriya’s introduction. Classy picturisation with placid nature and divine feeling. Director Aditya infused the sense of serenity into this song. Song with Aditya touch. 4) Ettage unnade – Another mass item with Nag and Shriya in lead with group dancers in a festive backdrop (jaathara). This song resembles ‘Dabbu dabbu’ song in Nuvvu vasthavani. Nag made some good dance moments for fast folk beats. This is the highlight song in the first half. Nagfans erupted the theater during this song. 5) Intha dooram – Duet picturised on Nag and Aarthi in New Zealand locales. Loose costumes and loose steps by Nag add new dimension to this song. 6) Nuziveedu – Duet on Nag and Aarthi. This is the only song picturised indoor with cool sets. Cool summer shirts wore by Nag in this song is going to be rage among the youth in this summer. Dance moments are fast paced. 7) Ye swasalo – Highlight song of the movie. Lead scene and situation for this song is best in the recent times for any song in any film. It touches your heart and wets your eyes. Whole center of gravity of the movie lies in this song. Kudoos to Aditya, Keeravani and Seetarama sastry for marvelous composition and taking. Shriya is the real winner. Nag looks larger than life at the end of this song. Public in the theater spontaneously clapped at the end of the song. With the kind of response it received from the public you can measure the gravity of this song. 8) Nee kosam – Ony duet on Nag and Shriya. Tailor made song for Nag. Choreography is cool and sober. Nag provided some classy dance moments with ease and style. You will certainly practice those moments after you reach home. Background Music – Keeravani’s excellent background score elevated emotions and actions to great extent thereby making Director’ job easy. Highlights: Nag’s Characterization- Nag’s character has two shades. One shade blends with the toughness of ‘Shiva’ and roughness of ‘Deva’ (Hello brother). The other shade intertwines the romance and cosmopolitan look of ‘Manmadhudu’. Nag looks extra glamorous and dynamic. His presence in every frame out beats other characters. Nag looks taller than Charminar with his charm. Genetic engineers should take the assistance of Nag in finding a drug to stop ageing. Shriya – She won the hearts once again. This stood as one of her best performances after Santosham and Nuvve Nuvve. Her emotions touches your heart and remain lasting impression. Songs - ‘Ettaga unnade olamme’ song in the First half and all the 3 songs in second half will bring the repeat audience to the theater. Direction– Director V N Aditya canned all the emotional scenes between Nag and Shriya with tender touch thereby creating silver lining to the movie. Following are the few lovable scenes: Shriya’s introduction with a classical song ‘Maha Ganapathim’ Nag’s supporting words to shriya Nag serving food to Shriya by making Dosas on Iron box ( as a Electirc stove) Shriya’s surprise treat to Nag on his birthday. Nag and Shriya playing together in rain Airport scene where Shriya leaves Nag and goes along with her parents Entire episode of ‘Ye Swasalo’ song Fights – There are quite number of warning and warring scenes, which give necessary impetus to the fans and frontbenchers. Here are few: Nag (as a child) pulling the cycle chain and twisting it around the knuckles. Chain forms as ‘Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna’ during the titles. Nag’s intro fight with Allari Ravi Fight in the Music college. Slick editing provided good punch. Nag vs Durga: Freezing camera shots in several fighting scenes. Dialogues – There are some crisp and catchy dialogues by Paruchuri brothers. Some of the dialogues which brought claps and burst the theater into laughter are: Nag with Pasupathi– Ne area ki vachhe, ne adda ki vachhe, ni gondela meda kalese, Na style, strength emito chupistha Nag with Allari Ravi – Fight mudala pettadame kane aapadam theliyadu Ali about Aarthi – Deeniki Cholesterol e kadu, kuncham extralu koda ekkuve Nag & Ali about Shriya – Nuvvu navvithe maku energy, lekapothe naku allergy Nag & Ali with Shriya – Aadavalu muggu veyyali, Maga valu peggu veyyali Nag with Mukesh rushi and viceversa – Otamini oppuku goppavadivi avuthavu Nag with Mukesh rushi – Pakkaki vasthava, Public ga matladathava Sunil with Subbaraju – Nenu chala open ga matladatha. Meru chala worst fellow. Sunil with Nag – A ammaye jeevithaniki koda tip evvandi sir Nag with Shriya – Samasya vachhinapudalla chachhipothe, eppatiki nenu enni sarlu chachi povali. Comedy – Comedy trio Ali, Brahmanandam and Sivareddy provided enough comedy with jokes on Jacket windows, Fishes, T-Shirt, Cards, etc. Comedy track between Sunil and MS Narayana in the second half received well though it appears to be separate. Reverse gear comedy between DVS and Ananth is also jelled well. Steam bath scene between Nag and Shriya. Camera – Photographer Shiva Kumar’s skills in capturing the port backgrounds on the large canvas with apt lighting effects, freeze shots, 3600 effects not only set the correct mood for the film but also make you capitulate at his skills. Production – High production values with lavish backgrounds and technical brilliance in the form of photography, background music, richness and quality of the film. Weak points: First half ends on average note leaving some good scenes. Director was unable to generate right kind of kick in establishing the mass elements. Enough response was not evoked from the fans for the first song and some fights. Allari Ravi’s meek character spoiled seriousness in some gripping scenes even though it provides good comedy. Even the lead scenes to the mass songs in the first half are not properly established Aarthi gains weight in physique but not in role. She was limited to the songs There is no much game plan involved in the strategies played by the villain, which ends up in showing the Hero on top at every time (without any struggle). Anti Hero establishment should be more strong to elevate the mass elements. There is no proper establishment why Simhachalam and his son acts as a informers to Venu?
