Shankar Dada MBBS 50 days’ records confuse fans
Claims and counter-claims among fans pertaining to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Shankar Dada MBBS continue. The film’s records of 50 days are making confusion among the fans. While a section of media claims that ran in 314 centers for 50 days, some have a different number. A popular film magazine (is it Dukham also called as Santosham) published 280 centers and quoted 34 additional centers, totalling 314 centers as 50-day centers. The list also showed some centers abroad! Here comes the glitch. In USA, the film was released with six prints. How could one run a film for 50 days in 50 in different parts (centers) of the United States of America with mere 6 prints? Only the magazine knows this magic! (This happened previously too, with other movies, one of them being quite controversial. God knows how they can cook this up! Balayya becam trendsetter here too again.)
There's no doubt that the film has seen unprecedented openings in the history of Telugu film industry. But buying at exorbitant prices, the buyers could not gain as much as they did with INDRA. According to reliable sources, the movie celebrates 50 days in 170 plus theatres
