Balayya plays military man
After many hiccups, Balakrishna’s forthcoming filml Vijayendra Varma is all set to hit the theatres on December 15. Produced under the banner of Aditya Productions, the film will feature Balakrishna in the role of a military officer for the first time in his career. Though that reminds us of his father N T Rama Rao’s Bobbili Puli, producer Konda Krishnam Raju says it has nothing to do with that film.
“The role of Balakrishna is a powerful one like N T Rama Rao’s in Bobbili Puli, but the theme of Vijayendra Varma is entirely different. I hope he gets a national award for the performance. We have released the audio cassette of the film some time ago but didn’t include a patritic song which will be a surprise for the audience,” he says. Ankita, Laya and Sangeeta are the three heroines in the film.
