I have seen BALU in NJ on Saturday 2nd show. I was out to see the first show at 6.50 and all the tickets were sold out. There was huge crowd at the theatre. More people had showed up than the seating for the second show. Few people were sent out by refunding the money. Thanks for the amazing crazy that Pawan has.
The movie was very rich in presentation. Pawan stole the show with his action and styles. His costumes were very good and he is as glamorous as he was during the KUSHI days. He did very well and he played both BALU and GHANI characters with ease.
The first half of the movie was really extra-ordinary. The trouble only started just before the interval fight. I don’t know why our telugu film makers are obsessed with such a poor graphics. If at all we use, we have to use like in Hollywood style where it’s almost hard to find out which is real and which is fake. We are having this issue since we don’t have much infrastructure and till then we better avoid these graphics.
The whole second half was too bore and hard to digest. The director spoiled the show. Had he maintained the same tempo as first half, the movie would have been a great hit. Fights are good and the songs are very catchy.
This movie would end up as an average fare. The run of this movie will heavily depend on the promotion and result of other Sankranthi movies. If you are a fan of PAWAN, you will not be disappointed but as a normal cine goer the movie is not up to mark. This movie could have been better but disappointed by the screen-play.
