mama, the situation is not what u think. the police is not waiting for someone to lodge a comlaint. they are waiting balayya to be discharged so that they can take him into custody. but, balayya and care hospital are taking care that he doesnt get discharged until he gets the bail.

In a gun-shots fired case, where did the point of "whether a complaint has been filed, by either party," arise? This is ridiculous and wrong!!!
Even if nobody files a complaint, it is the State .Vs. the defendant (after finding out who the culprit is - that fired the shots). It doesn't matter, as a result of what/who this has happened.
Firing gun-shots is a crime, using somebody else's firearms is another crime.
Even if the crime is not premeditated, the chargers should be atleast and not limited to - attempted murder charge, carrying and using firearms illegally possessed (if it is BalaKrishna, then his wife's), and if anyone dies, then, the involuntary manslaughter charge(s) should be filed.
Eventhough I didn't take the Bar, I know these for sure.
