I had a similar situation. actual gaa inkaa less timelone. my H1 expires on Sept 15th and I was coming in on Sept 9th. ( Remember the sept 11th, ade year, luckigaa batiki poyaa) he looked at stamping and said you just have a week or so. I said yeah I understand, I will have it renewed ani seppa.. he looked at my previous trips and said okay.
hence my advice would be act as per the requirement. unless they ask don't show additional papers/filings. all this leads to confusion and complexity. |

Mama.. ala cheste problem aithadi emo.. since u are not in the payroll rolls of new company as of now.. it is still valid to come under old visa with I94 until end of the month and apply immediately for extension.. once u filed it.. u dont have an issue with it.
Where as if INS asks how can u enter on a different H1/H4 when the spouse is still with anohter company status, we may not be having convincing answer.. Anyways better talk to any attorney if u still insisting to bring them with new H1 papers |

Venu mama nuvvu yemi phikar avvamaku!They will allow if they have valid I-94 and they will give new one with the valid date which is on the stamp,if they have valid stamp on the pass port.Please tell ur family don't show any docs untill and unless they ask to show any.Don't make things complicate and make them complicate!Hope u enjoy with ur family in US after Jan 15th 2005! |

but if you want 1-94 for latter date then you need show valid h-1b

When I said letter from my company I meant the company I have been working for more than 3 years and whose stamping they have in their Passports. As, you said even I feel it is appropriate to show the letter from this company rather than confusing them showing a different company's H1B!!

Dont Worry. They wont bother your family at the port of entry. If your family got a proper stamping until 31st Jan thats it. No one can stop them there.
You dont need to worry at all. They dont need to show any other H1 or extra documents. |

venu babai..if I was you I would show the letter by the company that says that they are extending your h1b..as you know that you can hold at a time 3 different h1bs..but show the letter which says they are filing your h1b from your company.. I understand that when you mean your company you mean the company thru which you have a h1b visa stamped on your passport |

I have a quick question!
My family is flying back from India this 15th. Now my question is the stamping on their pass ports is valid till 31st January and they are coming on 15th!!
My company is filing my H1B extension and a letter saying so is given by the company and my wife is coming with that letter.
Also there is one more approved H1B(and related H4B for my family) which was done by another company and which is valid upto October 2006.
Now, is it a better idea to show my company's letter saying they are extending my H1B at the port of entry or is it a better idea to show even the new H1B done by other company?? My fear is if they show H1B done by other company, they may ask why you did not get it stamped!!
All these questions, if they ask your stamping is valid only till 31st and why are you coming for 15 days!!
Please answer, if you have idea!
