Brothers, don't pay attention to these petty comments. I have been to NTR ghat in 1997,1998,1999 on Jan 18th and all the time, all the family members(daugthers used to come separately with their husbands) used to come jointly to NTR ghat in the morning itself and used to pay homages. All the other politicians used to come later. What I have observed is, even though JayaKrishna and Sai Krishna are elder, it is HariKrishna who used to lead the proceedings and he is the one who used to help RamaKrishna who is physically not well(because of accident during Peddannayya's 100 days function) .Unfortunately, most of the time, media didn't cover whether the family members attended since these people won't carry media along with them nor Media is too keen on writing whether these people attended or not.As I said above, all the family members(Sons) go jointly in the early morning itself and I'm sure the same trend might have continued yesterday as well. |

How many people cutting across parties pay homage to Gandhi @ his Ghat in comparison to NTR? How many of his own family members where ther last year at his Ghat?

You presume all people talking aganist NTR are people crying on him doesn't the same rule apply to you when you talk about Chiru & Pawan at Personal levels? When you took pains in highlighting the greatness of NTR, can we atleast expect you not to involove yourself in mud sludging and passing derogatory remarks on personal life's of others specially Chiru & Pawan?

You missed one more thing. He never went for Worldbank loans. He tripled the state budget by increasing govt revenues from excise dept, film theaters, collecting sales tax etc. Rajasekhar Reddy tries to imitate NTR. But what he lacks big time is he cannot increase govt revenue like NTR did. To do what he did, one needs self confidence and good heart. I sincerely feel CBN won in 1999 because of Raitu BAzaar. Because of Raitu bazaar only he got more votes in urban areas than rural areas. One of the main reasons CBN lost this time is because of hike in power tariff. |

well, its not upto me to decide is it hard ship or not, but to my understanding most of people would be just finishing their responsibilities like marriages of thier kids and paying of loans during their last 3 years when they plan their retirements.
and the hardship i talked about is, that caused by 50 days of the NGO strike.

I agree with the initiator that he caused a stir in the politics in AP, taken many good decissions.
besides he took some bad decissions as well.
like, reducing retirement age for NGOs. which caused a lot of pain for public.
But overall, he did succeeded in one bigger vision. that is bringing govt closse to people. now people know who they are voting to, and what the system is like.
2 more good things you missed.
1. regulating the arrack(sara).
2. abolishing vidhana sabha..

For the People who are crying on Annagaru
As I have already discussed about the Political schemes
started by Annagaru..
Here I am giving few..
NTR-The man behind the non donation seats in Engineering
and Medical colleges.
No body dared to cancel the donation scheme which Annagaru did.
people crying in Db's please think a while how they finished their
technical degrees without paying donation in Andhra Pradesh where
as our neighbour states following donation system.
Merit students successfully finished their technical degrees
Without Paying single paisa donation and those people crying on him
after coming here..
Some people may call him he helped his caste people I was wondering
how come he canceled Siddartha college private status and forcefully
merged Siddartha Medical sciences in AP Health Dept.
Siddartha college chairman Subbarao is the accountant for NTR.
NTR's first cabinet included with majority of Kapu community people
than his community people.
Never his own caste people got the lion share in his govt.
He started the reservation system in local bodies which helped
uplifting of BC communities in Andhra Pradesh.
He started Mandal system which helped rural people alot.
He canceled Karam system which helped village people alot.
Maybe now a days its not possible to provide 2 rs kg rice but
2 decades ago it was possible and Annagaru made that possible.
He started ladies reservation system in all the sectors. and
he started separate university for women.
He is the person started the university on our own language
Telugu.
His party was the second largest party in Loksabha in
Rajiv Gandhi Govt.
Its proud for our state I am challenging the people can anybody
do this in future?
His government passed the law on Anti Dowry system.
His Government started cooperative socities which helped farmers
to get the loans very quick.(single window system).
He is the person started the Marketing system in the constituency
and Rural division level..
I have many...If anybody wants to discuss about his policies
I am always ready....I will come with full statistics..
He is the person developed TTD and successfully
stopped mismanagement of TTD funds and tried to get status like
Vatican.
He was the man behind Telugu Ganga, Jurala, Sri Ramsagar,Somasila etc..
Last but not the least don't try to throw the mud on the sky it
will fall on you..
