Hero Nagarjuna along with music director R P Patnaik made a patriotic song, Vandemataram, on the lines of A R Rahman- Bharat Bala’s Vandemataram. The song featuring Nagarjuna, sung by R P Patnaik himself, is currently being aired on Maa TV channel. Though it has some good visuals, the song is hardly inspiring. R P is no Rehman for sure and the theme lacked that ‘emotional patriotic’ quotient.
