Nag’s film and Sasipreetham’s film have the same theme? http://www.telugucinema.com/c/movies/nag_sasi.shtm l Grapevine is that Nagarjuan’s ongoing film, being directed by Poori Jagannath, has the same theme and content to that of music director Sasipreetham’s directorial debut, Naa Pranam Kante Ekkuva. Sasipreetham is reportedly ‘re-making’ (or ‘freemaking’) the film into Telugu as Naa Pranam Kante Ekkuva with newcomers in lead roles. Meanwhile, there are reports that Nag-Poori’s film has been ‘inspired’ by Dhoom. Though, Nagarjuna and director Poori Jagannath have categorically denied the rumors, the similarities are there for everyone to see. The original Hindi, Dhoom, was about a gang of robbers headed by John Abraham getting away with robberies on their slick and hi-tech bikes. And how the police officer (Abhishek Bacchan) with the help of a go-lucky person nabs them. In Nagarjuna’s film too, a specially brought bike (Yamaha Fazer) has been used. The film’s current schedule is in Hyderabad, shooting at Ramanaidu Studios. Adding fuel to these rumors, director Poori Jagannath told a magazine that few action scenes would be like in Dhoom format. So the speculation is on. The truth will be out when the film releases this summer.
