but after 5weeks it picked up due to good response from mass and ladies who like sentiment

chiru's camp he did that..He was the distributor was most of the areas
in andhra and he got good profits in those days
usually for any hit movie after 10 weeks the collections goes down.
Distributor/buyers/fans has to spend some amount to drag the movie till
100 days.
NBK fans are ready to spend the money but dattu did'nt gave the chance to them
and he told them he is going to take care abt the 100 days centers and
suddenly he lifted the movie on 82nd day..

Yes, BANGARU BULLODU was appreciated by one and all and the movie had good collections but was lifted. Also BOBBILI SIMHAM and BHAIRAVA DEEPAM had decent collections when they were terminated in their respective theatres in HYDERABAD.
LORRY DRIVER had excellant collections in DEVI 70MM for 4 weeks and was doing very well when CURFEW came and all the collections came down as the curfew was prevailing in MUSHEERABAD, AMBERPET and few other areas surrounding RTC X ROADS!! Even though CHIKKADAPALLY was not under curfew the movie collections dropped drastically and sadly had to be lifted after 10 weeks itself!!
Infact we were very very surprised to see serpentine lines for LORRY DRIVER in DEVI 70MM which was strictly MASS-MASALA film!! |
