The story line in short reveals the nakedness of thought and imagination, which drove this film into a futile exercise. Padmanabham says he is having this house because NTR got it constructed for him. What relevance it has to theme. Jeeva’s rowdy role is aimless presentation. The dialogue given to Prakashraj asking his son why don’t you marry Lakshmi and the boy replying: “I don’t like her.” Reflect senseless approach sounding as if rubbing salt on the wound, that is mental agony of the girl whom he was to marry. This dialogue is needlessly repeated. The general approach of dialogue other wise has a single objective of preaching goodness to all. They sound as if he is giving personality development lessons. The flashback in latter half set an atmosphere of foreign land. At one stage he tells the residents of Sahara Colony that is of Padmanabham that he is a Naxalite and came there to teach lessons to corrupt. The corrupt include a money lender (AVS), boaster Raghubabu of high contacts, bad students, a quarrelling couple and some more. None of them have a specific role to play. Even the Bigamy role of Narayana Rao is not properly developed. Every bad man and woman change, with a couple sentences uttered by the hero. The last parts of drama is terribly dragged, inviting audience’ negative response. The narration lost its direction soon after the hero deserted his house. Why so much of fuss to avoid marriage, if it is in the interest of the girl? The entire narration becomes irrelevant. Once the Cancer drama is set, the interest in the film is lost. Can a man suffering from blood cancer for almost more than a year fight with dozens of goons. It is a lackluster drama. Funny almost all scenes have a wheel as part of back drop. |

Prabhas image as upcoming actor takes a beat in this film, for he is given senseless scenes to perform with different attributes. He appears as a magician at times. He then behaves like a eunuch and an entertainer of children and then a fighter. In every chunk he looks amateurish. Asin and Charmie and Prakashraj cry repulsively. We feel repulsive because the entire get up of the film is so amateurish that it looks clearly a director made fake cancer drama. It is purposeless and disappointing. Time for Krishna Vamsee to look back and assess what he is planning to do and what kind of import his subject is carrying. |

Prabhas starrer Krishnavamy directed Chakram has not opened in many parts of the state today. The film is released in Hyderabad and some major centers only.
The film's producers faced problems at Labs to get clearance. Hence the film's prints could not reach to many of the centers on the day of the release today. It is likely to be released tomorrow or day after tomorrow in those centers.
