for people who did not follow the news , the famous garment makers had depicted pictures of hindu goddess and gods on underwear and were forced by hindu groups to withdraw it
A MAJOR QUESTION IS HERE THE PROPAGANDA BY SO CALLED LIBERALS , oh it is just a dress why such a fuss.
to them these questions provide the answer
1.WHY THE PARTIAL TREATMENT TO THE ABRAHAMICAL RELIGIONS(ISLAM AND CHRISTINIATY) why cant they put the pictures of the prophet and christ (oh i guess fatwas and decrees would be passed to kill them)
but that does not prevent you from saying hinduism should be liberal enough
it is not about liberalism ,it is about the sentiments of millions. period
2.WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SAME LIBERALS WHO PASSED FATWAS ON TASLIMA NAZREEN AND SALMAN RUSHDIE JUST COZ THEY WERE LIBERAL ENOUGH
3.WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SAME LIBERALS WHEN M.F HUSSAIN DREW SARASWATI IN THE NUDE .
oh then you can agitate for artistic rights , i see then why did you not agitate when
M.F HUSSAIN WITHDREW HIS FILM MEENAXI FROM THEATRES OVER A SINGLE SONG OBJECTION BY ULEMA OF INDIA.
please do not make misplaced arguements ,RESPECT THE FEELINGS OF THE HINDUS ALSO , just because the hindus are liberal does not mean they will tolerate whatever you do .
