Kota Srinivasa Rao is proving him to be the artiste with caliber even on the national screen. He is starring against Amitabh in the main villain role in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Circar’.
He also shook the Tamil and Kannada screens recently. He made his presence in the Tamil films like ‘Saami’ , a remake of ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’ and in ‘Ayya’.
His present remuneration has shot up to Rs.50 lakhs on Bollywood screen. If ‘Circar’ turns out to be a hit, Kota would eventually become the highly paid villain on the screen.
There has been an impression that Kota occupied the place of Nutan Prasad as a villain with humor mix after the accident in the shooting of ‘Bamma baata bangaaru baata’. Similarly Kota is now taking the place of Amreesh Puri.
