Bunny releasing on April 6th, has a very different feel about it in comparison to his other two films Gangotri and Arya. Its success will be a gift for his birthday, which falls on April 8. Describing Bunny, Arjun says, "this film is anything but Arya. My family believes in a good script and ultimately everything that is attached to it. I am more interested in a hit film than a good film."
Bunny Character
Reminiscing Gangotri and Arya, Arjun says, "the character in Arya was so close to my real life persona. The director saw me once and felt I was the right guy for the role because my body language was so flamboyant. In real life too I am very peppy and full of life. So I guess my character gelled with the role. Another film which I saw recently was Nuvvosthanante nenoddhantana and was impressed with the hero's role. I felt for a moment that I could have done that. And about Gangotri, there was no thinking twice at that point of my life. The director (K. Raghavendra Rao) was doing his 100th film and I was lucky to be the lead."
Strength
"A lot of people said that. In Bunny I have got my dialogues — almost 80 per cent of my shots were okayed in a single take. I did put in effort and did a lot of homework. I practised and concentrated helluva lot."
About Bunny Title
When we started shooting for the film, everyone used to call me `Bunny', which is my pet name and even in the dialogue sheet same name was used. Eventually while deciding the name of the character, the director felt it proper to retain it. So there's not much to read into it. But somewhere I wasn't comfortable with the title lest people might find it pompous.
