Once Ramu, the child, grows into Ramu (Udaykiron), the young man, Ramu approaches Zamindar Mangaraju (Pilla Prasad) and says that the zamindar had taken their family land of 25 acres of land in the past and requested him to return it, so that he could start farming and live on it. Peevish Zamindar gives him just five acres that too in a rocky place. As Ramu is busy taming the land, the mischievous grand daughter of the Zamindar, Aravinda (Sada), strolls into his field and starts waging bets with him as if to test his guts. The young man has to first steal Zamindar’s hand stick and later zamindar’s eldest son’s ring. He succeeds in the first and but gets noticed in the second. The chasing servants of the zamindar drive a crowbar into his abdomen. The feeling of guilt pushes Aravinda into Ramu’s arms. They are in deep love. From then on it is a prolonged battle between this pair of lovers and the zamindar Mangaraju. Ramu and Aravinda don’t even know each other’s name. From then on punishment chapter opens and chase for Ramu begins, while Aravinda is kept under house arrest. Ramu is stabbed three times. Yet he survives and returns into Aravinda’s life. In the process Ramu gains the sympathy of women folk in Zamaindar’s house. The other men either beat him up or get beaten throughout the film. The women come together, lock up all men and perform the marriage of lovers, before the very eyes of egoistic Zamindar.
