(1)always practice Yoga after taking bath.Not before bath.
(2)Always do Yoga in Brahma Muhurtha kaalam.That means.early morning 4.00 to 6.00.Second preferable time is Raajya kaalam i mean 6..0 to 8.00.do not practice after 8.00 morning
(3)Always do with empty stomuch(I think spelling wrong)
(4)Do not force your body while doing asanasas.Let it bend very slowly and gently.
(5)maintan equal time between for each and every asana.
(6)Always follow breating pattern.This will be taught complting your session of asanas
(7)Take 'saathvik' food like more froots and vegetable and less cooked food.
(8)Prefer to eat food with ghee(do not worry about cholestorol)

This depends on ur requirement. If u r trying to bulk up, do heavy weights low reps (max 6 reps...6th rep chesetappudu u ahve to fail)

high reps will just tone ur muscles but not add mass... mass build cheyaali ante ur muscles need to undergo wear and tear so that they get repaired during the 'recovery period' ..idi kevalam heavy weights and low reps lone possible.

nenu kuda 3-4 days per week gymming. overdoing might not be effective muscles need rest.
and mornings(alternative) cardio stuff... even I hated cardio excercises earlier but it is very refreshing and I cannot begin my day without it these days. I hope to continue atleast that part as long as i live. and music is the best way not to get bored while doing that..

supplements vishayamlo nuvvu cheppinattu some people are skeptical. and I go for a supplement only after doing enough research on it and knowing the needs. I take soy protien in a similar dose that u said.

DB,

I work out with heavy weights (heavy for me :-)) at least three times a week.

day 1: chest and legs(legs ki only lunges and leg press..I am shit scared of squats..afraid of injuring my lower back. This fear was not allowing me to progress..so just gave up and now i do just lunges and the leg press machine)
day 2: shoulders and back
day3 arms

just 6 reps 4 sets each. since i am trying to put on mass and have a high metabolism, i do heavy weights and low reps .

I dont do any cardio. just hate cardio..aa running, rowing etc naa valla kaadu..But on sundays i go cycling for atleast 2 hrs.


supplements vishayam lo I am absolutely for them. I have myoplex. naa weight 69 kgs which means i need 69 * 2 = 138 gms of protein. very difficult to get all that protein from food .
cooking chicken is a pain..so i rely on myoplex. 1 shake gives 42 gms of protein and if u have it with skimmed milk 62 gms.

I find this campaign against supplements very silly...half the people who warn against taking supplements do so because they confuse supplements with steroids.

1. Eat no less than 2500 kcalories a day. Eat 3000 on days that you exercise. Eating too few will waste muscle fast, and that muscle will help you keep off fat.

2. Lift weights before doing cardiovascular exercise. You can do a small warm-up, like 5 minutes running or 10 minutes biking. Save the long cardio sessions for separate days or after you have finished lifting weights.

3. When lifting, the larger body parts (like chest, legs, and back) are more important. These muscles require a lot of energy due to their size, and will burn more kcalories when resting than small muscles.

4. Get adequate sleep! Muscles are built while sleeping, so 7 hours or more are a must!

5. Eat breakfast! You body's metabolism runs much faster if you have eat first thing in the morning.

6. Eat right after working out, and make it a starchy, sugary meal. By doing so, your body releases insulin, and any depleted stores of glycogen will be refilled. Try to consumer about 60+ grams of carbohydrates and 20 grams of protein. This may be the most important thing I tell you!

7. Don't work you stomach muscles too often; once a week is enough for all muscles.

8. Squats are the most unpleasant exercise, but may be the best. This is because it uses so many muscles. This causes a large release of growth hormone, more than any other exercise, which circulates through the entire body. Strange as it may seem, squats can truly improve all other exercises.

9. Keep in mind this will make you very sore! Deal with it.

10. Drink 10+ cups of water a day, and make sure to get at least 1/2 liter after exercising.

11. Cardio, like running and biking, only burn kcalories while you are doing it. Weight lifting causes your muscles to remain active every hour of the day, even when resting.

12. Limit each body part to 12 sets. For example, it is the day to do chest: 4 sets of bench press, 4 sets of dumb bell flys, 4 sets of push-ups. Or you could do four different exercises but only 3 sets each.

13. For each set, do no more than 15 repetitions. If you can do it that many times in before putting down the weight, you need to add more weight. If the weight is so heavy you can't lift it more than 6 times, take off some weight.

14. Begin every workout session with a area specific warm-up. For example, if it is the day to work chest, do a set of 12 repetitions with the bench press bar only. No weights. This gets the blood pumping and stretches out the muscles.

15. Change things up; do exercises in different order. If you did biceps on week with the bar before the machine, do the machine first the next week.

16. The weight lifting part of your session should be short; no more than 45 minutes. On days when you also want to do cardio, do that for only 20 minutes. On days when you are doing cardio alone, do no more than 45 minutes TOTAL.

17. Remember, you can overwork yourself, and if you do, the muscle will go and the fat will stay. Fat loss is slow; to lose 7-10 kg, it may take you until the middle of summer to reach that goal. Don't worry.

18. If you develop anorexia or bulimia, I will personally beat you with a blunt object of my choice (just kidding).

Inka work lo I always use stairs to 5th floor. Actually any work out you need to raise ur hearbeat for atleast 20mts.
Inka to build muscle weights chestharu, but naaku muscle build cheyatam ishtam ledu, so I don't do weights.

My work out:- I do brisk walking on Tread Mill for 30mts n cycling for 20mts just to burn some calories. Then I do some tummy, abdomen etc excercises.

I'm learning Kuchipudi so that is kinda good excercise too.

I work out 4 to 5 days a week for atleast 30mts.
Take a heavy Breakfast and good lunch.
I take light dinner like Phulkas with veggies/meat, around 6pm.
Have your dinner atleast 3hrs before you go to bed.
Drink lot of water all day.
Drink Skimmed milk or fat free soy milk. Eat lot of fruits n dry fruits.

I party on weekends and eat everything. But I do try to follow the above schedule during week days.

I always try to maintain my weight. I make sure I've a flat belly. I control my diet accordingly. If I eat an ice cream one day, I reduce my dinner for that night. If I have a bud, I eat less for dinner.
I don't go to gym and I don't any other exercise, other than playing sports - tennis.

nenu only protiens theeskunta mama. which is really good and compensates the lack of protiens in your daily diet. but it is useful only if you are working out on your muscles regularly. otherwise it is not absorbed just exits ur body in the form of urine.(pretty expensive urine lol)

there are other chemical supplements like "creatine" which have to be taken only after proper consultation.

A lot depends on the type of your body also.
some kinds have very high metabolic rates some have very low metabolic rates. just gym cheyyatam saripodu. jogging/ cycling laanti cardio excercises very important.

one thing - without good health there is no meaning to life.

as vivekananda said "strength is life, weakness is death"
(ofcourse this applies to even mental strength.)

everyday half an hour excersise does a lot of good for ur health..
reg diet eat anything but at regular intervals and just make sure u eat max variety of vegetalbles and meat/fish in a week..
Fish is better than meat...
drink MILK everyday...
and for those who have kids dont feed to much of Beef and Pork to ur kids.. brain bcomes dull..
