Venu, I perfectly, I agree with you... What I can see is, still most of the people or fans call Jr as Jr.NTR only, not as NTR...
But, most of the media is pronouncing his name as NTR (the reason being many times Jr.NTR repeatedly requested press and public to address him as NTR, but not as Jr.NTR, you might have remembered some instances, in AllariRamudu's function, Naga's opening function, Jr. NTR openly requested press and public to address him as NTR). After that most of the media started addressing him as NTR.. But still, I see that most of the people still address him as Jr.NTR only.. But slowly and steadily, calling this fellow as NTR is catching up..
So, at least us, will still refer to this fellow as Jr.NTR and let's address the Legend NTR as NTR.

Thats what exactly I wanted to convey by referring to Peddayana as SrNTR!! This fellow JrNTR after 3 or 4 movies changed his tag to NTR from JrNTR and no one from the fans objected to that!!

So, let's call Anna Garu as NTR and Jr as Jr.NTR.
