Its true and I agree with you Manishi. We should support/discuss about movies and heros. But not to an extent where it divides people. Also this DB should and this fanism should be part of life. But not vice versa. I could see some of them take it very serious. At some point of time we should look back ourselves and see what we are doing. 
@Veena: Closing the DB is not a solution. Everyone should have to understand the issue and maintain serene atmosphere instead of provoking some one and getting into issues.

Mamalu,
I used to browse IBDB and now BTDB (now I also Participate here). I enjoyed a lot here .One thing I noticed that people in these discussion boards are highly emotional.
People start fighting here for their heroes who don't give a F**k about us. Hero's sit happily in their mansion houses, and we fight for them like street dogs(sorry for the comparision, but sadly it is true).
Once we start fighting we divide ourselves into groups and now our sole mission is to destroy the enemy group.
When Balakrishna shoot out happened , some of members are on the net 24/7 without even eating food where as NBK is happily sleeping in his AC room.
Why do you have to give up your food and sleep ? Will it even reach balakrishna that you spent day and night for him? NO
Please don't say "Maa Hero meedha Abhimanam" . Abhimanam Undochhu kaani adhi mana life minchi kaadhu !
Some of the members even went to the extent of dieing for him. Dude come to senses. Your parents must have gone thru hardships to give you a good future . This is how you repay them ?
The other day A girl was massacared in broad day light in vijayawada.How many threads did we have for that? Hardly 4 or 5. I really appreciate thodakottu for opening a thread condemming the act.
Today a new fight is between Chiranjeevi and Nag fans. what do you gain by fighting ?
Absolutely Nothing
I never participated in IBDB just because it is always fighting about records and collections. I thought BTDB was different and it indeed was different for a while . Now if you look at it , it just resembles IBDB.
Now some people are thinking of opening another DB and that will be popular for a while and then the cycle repeats !
So why don't we all call it quits and spend on something entertaining/interesting?
Any other suggestions are welcome. |
