Optical Zoom ( should have min 8X - 10X )
1.5" LCD minimum
Pixels ( 3.2 should be fine for normal use )
Cheap memory ( memory stcik, XD are costly )
Battery charger Inlcuded
Remote operation
Hot shoe inlcuded ( Most of them are not having )

Don't go for 5MP, that is not a good idea because it takes lot of storage sapce, download will be slow, upload will be slow and you don't see any difference in print. I have 3.1MP and I had printed a 18x17 picture of my daughter, that came out real good.
a work around is change the settings and it should be fine. this way , if required enlargements ki kooda problem raadu.. |

So with 3.1 MP and good optical zoom will be better. I suggest to spend that money on better quality lences and storage media. |
