yep.. the producer mentioned that it is inspired from an english play
The story line of the film sounds very similar to an English film Identity and recently released Hindi film Khamoshh…?
Actually even Khamoshh has drawn its inspiration from an English film called Identity. We have taken an English play as an inspiration, which was taken as base for Identity film.

The film is inspired by Identity ani Nagababu cheppadu - kaani it is a very shortened version anta - the film that takes the exact plot of Identity is Khamoshi (Hindi)
Additionally - I think he has mentioned in an interview to (IB??) - that there would be no songs or only background songs - or something to that extent.
I heard that there is another movie with the name "Valayam" in the offing - that is somewhat like a guy using his mimicry talent to and claiming ranson for a kidnap - I cant remember the ENglish movie that it is inspired from though.
