sorry pakodi mama..deewar is Waste movie.
i didn't like it at all..
Too many loop holes in the story as well as scenes..
Escaping from or atleast trying to escape from WAR prisoner's JAIL is not that much easy.
and also AKSHAYe khanna entered into ARMY ZONE where ever and whenever he wanted it ..
but one thing good was ..terrific picturiZation of action scenes and total Camera work is good.
Performance wise, AMITAB and SANJAY DUTT were as usual at their best.
Our own S.GOPAL REDDY (cameraman) provided story for this DEEWAR.

No one needs to listen to me as I dont profess to be a leader...FYI during 1999 when I put forward a plan to collect funds in the college many of my friends said "abba pedda desa bhaktudu bayaluderudu ra". This was not for getting any name or fame but every indian's responsiblity to support our men; this was treated with utmost disrespect and negligence. As you rightfully pointed out, patriotism has several definitions and meanings and I have never imposed anyone to follow my idelogies as i am not a mahatma BUT all i said was show respect towards our army-men.
Ask what is sachin's wife's name or first indian to have won the parama veer chakra (without looking up in google.com) ? 9 out of 10 will give the first answer and not the second one. The mistake is of the media which does not truly depict the tales of people who die for the country.
Finally, I am least fucking concerned to prove that I am more patriotic than some tom,dick or harry. Desa bhakti anedi entha vunnado adi manasuke telusu. Having said that if any act to show one's responsibility during a crisis (read as war-like situation) is treated with non-chalance any true indian is bound to be irritated.

Let me tell you one experience I have come across when I was working at Satyam, Hyderabad and the reason for my comments.
For Kargil fund, our corporate decided to contribute one day salary and above depending on employee's intrest. There are some persons in our group sitting in our floor, sent mails to HR to requesting exclude them from the list to not to pay single day salary also.
When I personally met and asked for reasons the answer was "instead donating to Kargil fund I other businesses to do" ani annadu. At that moment I felt sick of these people attitude.
Also these fellows are the first guys to fight with facilities mgmt. for TV cable connection in cafetaria to watch live Cricket that in the working hours.
Also maa intlo nunchi kuda maa pedda nanna kodukulu iddaru IAF lo pani chesaaru. Okathanu IAF Dundigal lo service lo vundagaane chanipoyaaru due to some accident.

Many lifes have been let down by army/navy/airforce etc, agreed , so what can we do ?

i got through NDA in my intermediate days, got selcted for the IAF, all i wanted to become was a fighter pilot, patriotism ante telini age, all i wanted to do was a fly a plane, ma mother no freaking way annaaru, i fought at home to no avail, does it make my mother a traitor.
i lost a couple of my childhood buddies in air crashes in regular sorties.their parents will not allow any other kid they know to enroll in the services, does it make them unpatriotic.

sorry to say but not many of us are aware of sorry state of indian soldiers...
i will give an experience, when sourabh kalia http://specials.rediff.com/news/2004/jun/07karg1.h tm was killed and his body was returned on june 9th,1999, I put the message in our college billboard not a single mfucker bothered abt this...they were too keen abt india's win in WC...even today when i try to raise this topic in DB or anywhere else i see very few audience and a total lack of knowledge. this is the biggest insult we can give to our soldier brothers who fight for u, me and for all of us. infact when i was collecting literature abt all these heroes of kargil i was considered as a crazy guy by some losers.
some great people feel that patriotism is all abt sucking tendulkar's dick and nothing else...i am rooted as a tratior because i am a big fan of australian cricket team...ofcourse i dont care and celebrate aussie win and defeat of my friend's hypocrisy at all times (especially over india WC final casette konukuni maree choosenu oka 100 sarlu)
dont know when these losers will realize that patriotism is not supporting a cricket team but supporting ur true heroes and having a true love for country |
