Venu garu, the main reason why most of us don't put 'bottu' to work is because of the dress sense. Obviously, it doesn't look good if we try to mix tradition with pants & tops. pant shirt vesukuni, valu jada vesukuni, bottu pettukunte antha official ga undadu ani my personal opinion.

Where as, when I am away from work and go out for shopping I don't mind being traditional, with chudidhar and bottu. |

IMHO, after seeing lot of indian women wearing westren wear with bindi and jada... it looks very odd for some people (especially aunties) , for some people it look damn good. So naakaithey personality ni batti set avutundi anipisitundi emo anipistundi. 
So they better check that with some one avoid cheyyadam better For some of them they use very small bindi.. and it looks good..
So it depends on face and eyes composition..  |

in newjersey in the late 80s and early 90s there used to be a gang called 'dot busters' whose target was indians. due to the atrocities of these gansters, several indian stores have started moving out of jersey city to edison which seemed to be a safer place and now it is the full fledged indian business center (oak tree road). |
