Cricket ball leads to tension
Hyderabad, May 10: Mild tension prevailed in Chaderghat area for sometime on Tuesday, when a fight erupted over a boy belonging to one community entered a house belonging to a person of another community to retrieve a cricket ball. According to police, some boys were playing cricket in Azampura. The ball fell into a house in the vicinity. A boy entered the house by climbing over the wall and tried to take the ball. The house inmates, who were of a different community took objection and beat him up.
The boy complained to his family members. They, in turn, gathered and were about to attack the house inmates when police intervened and pacified both groups. City Police Commissioner Mr Dinesh Reddy said there was mild tension in Chaderghat. Later, the situation was brought under control and it was peaceful, he added.
