It was a slap that heroine Gopika would find hard to forget. Gopika made her debut in Telugu in Naa Autograph and also done SVK's Leta Mansulu and is now doing another Telugu film, Muddula Koduku.
The film is produced by A M Rathnam and it stars his son and star of 7/G Brindhavana Colony Ravi Krishna. The film’s shoot was finished. It was during the shooting of a scene for Muddula Koduku that the hero Ravi Krishna is said to have slapped the Malayalam beauty hard. The shot required Ravi to have an altercation with Gopika and slap her in the midst of a heated argument but our hero reportedly brought all the realism to his hands and slapped her hard.
The unfortunate heroin fell down in a faint for few moments; she returned to normal only when the crew dropped few drops of water on her face.
The actress was in shock for the rest of the day, though!
Muddula Koduku is directed by newcomer Radhamohan and veteran actress Revathy plays as mother in the film. The film has music by Vidyasagar and is readying up for release. |
