thats not the reason, he was stopped at the immigration when he was boarding flight from canada since his last name is Hassan, most of the officials thought he was muslim
then the movie producer was called and then Kamal was let go.
During the intergoration process they have asked him all sorts of questions. |

Cinepandit mama, also i heard the same kind problem happend for Amir Khan and Rahul Gandhi. For Rahul Gandhi NY Indian Embassy involved and resolved the issue before it became major issue.
For Amir Khan, it happend when he was travelling to US for Oscar award. His movie was nominated for oscar and he even told that to immi officers but invain...they did not listen... |

I used to rent car and used it as my id in US when first came on B-1 in 96 |

yep sopinchocchu, but the problem is ID number, naa daggara kooda IDL vundi, but its a nightmare to find the id number in that. its a long one with /'s so entry ki kattam. yeppudaina yedaina return ivvalante adi vadutha  |
