As reported by TotalTollywood earlier, Jagapathi Babu and Arjun will act in a film together. The film is officially launched in Telugu also. Pooja function was organized today morning. The film will be titled as Sivakasi in Telugu. Title of the film in Tamil is Madrasi. Arjun will direct this film. This is the first film for Arjun as director in Telugu. In Tamil he directed a few films. Jagapathi Babu and Arjun earlier acted Hanuman Junction together. In Sivakasi, Arjun will paly Kasi and Jagapathibabu will play Siva. Vedika and Gajala are roped in as heroines. THe film will have Mumbai mafia backdrop.
Jagapathi Babu said that he is waiting for a role that would create the magic of his Gayam and this film is giving him that opportunity. Jagapathi Babu also added that he is a big fan of Arjun and remembered that he screened Oka Okkadu for himself at Ramanaidu studios.
Regular shooting will start on 20th and will continue for 15 days. First schedule will be filmed in Mumbai. The rest is planned in Hyderabad.
