Thanks guys for sharing the information. I was shocked to hear that he was dismissed from class for just one semester.
But, tell me one thing guys, once dismissed, would there be any chances to get re-admitted if appealed? Was it happened to any of you guys? |

I am surprised that the school took that decision. I mean in most cases (most schools) if a student fails to maintain a 3.00 gpa , he/she will be given a 2 semester probation period. If that student fails to improve his/her gpa to 3.00 then he/ she will be disqualified from masters program.
Ask ur friend to recheck with his grad school. Getting disqualified after one semester is too much. |

Friends, one of my best friend (new to this country) got dismissed from the school after he getting one B and 2 C+'s in the first semester. What are the chances is he re-appeals again? What are the ways to get re-admitted in to the school? He wants to do Masters and couldn't do well for health reasons.
Any information is appreciated. |
