To start with with this serious topic. Here is my summarized version from economic times article. From an IT pro angle.
Cons:

* All hopes for tax sops were quashed as the only “lucky” ones were those with an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh.
* Following the 2% cess levied in the Budget, Maruti had announced a hike in price across all its models by 0.38 per cent.
A little more money to buy a new car
* Service tax being raised to 10%, the travelling and restaurent expenses will go up. Telephone bills will shoot up too.
* 2% extra burden due to the imposition of two percent education cess.
* Withdrawal of tax exemption on income earned by way of interest on non-resident deposits
Pros:
****
* Full exemption of customs duties on computers. A reduction in cost of computer equipment
* Budget had neither touched the existing tax structure nor imposed any turnover tax as feared.
* Excise duty on amusement rides being brought down from 20% to 10%. Have more fun.
