The movie titled “Political Rowdy” – produced and starred by Dr M. Mohan Babu has completed its talkie part and gets ready for song schedules. One of the leading heroines of Tollywood – Charmmee plays the heroine for MB. The movie made on Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures (SLPP) is not only a romantic love story, but also a nice satire on the contemporary Indian political scenario. Highlight of the movie is that Bollywood's music director Sandeep Chowta scores music for a six-number album. Dr. MB had fielded a young director Adi as part of encouraging the young talent.
The movie portrays MB as dreaded middle-aged politician for whom marriage is a taboo. But, he falls in love with a teenaged girl. All through the movie, you are going to have healthy comedy, neat romance, entertainment and above all, a hilarious experience in the backdrop of politics.
The movie unit is currently engaged in a few climax shots in Hyderabad ; and for song sequences, the lead roles would make their way to Germany in the coming weeks. A lone song is planned in Vizag, while a couple of others would be canned in Hyderabad and surrounding areas.
Popular dialogue writers Paruchuri Brothers said that unlike the regular dialogue-trend, “Political Rowdy” would present MB in a stunning character and all the powerful dialogues would be situational and expose the wrongs in political set up. To note here, Mohan Babu's movie “Assembly Rowdy” in the early 90s had ripped out a public sensation and even rocked the Assembly benches in the state.
