Kiki .. I have been frequenting DB for almost 2 weeks now, I dont see much effect on my work ,infact its enriching my 8 hours behind the desk.However, from August I will go missing for almost next 6 months when our new project starts.
Client will staple pin my ass if I dont justify his 75Euros\hour . |

1 year in this DB...
Still Cant believe its been close to 1 year since I registered in this DB..
{2BTDB}.... what started out for me as a time pass ended up being major time killer and I am serious... There were days when even before I checked my official mails I used to check the Last one hour posts..
office work took a back seat and the posts in Db seemed more important than anything else..spending more time in DB meant that I spend longer hours in office...during weekdays and working in weekends 
somehow it never occured that I was screwing up my personal life...
those were the worst points
its not fair on my poiint if I jus mention only the negative impacts.
I did gain a lo few of them are enumerated below
1 .Made a lot of wonderful friends.
2. My knowledge on the Tollywood is at an all time high.
3. Knowledge on some of the issues and problems faced by ppl residing in various parts of AP.
etc...
2 months back I made a blunder in my office by failing to concentrate on what I was doing and that would have costed my job... reason u guessed it rite following DB more than the job given by my boss...that caused me to weigh my priorities
And I zeroed it on DB and guess what over the period of 1 month where in I have been spending less time in DB I had been involved in lots of projects and twice have been appreciated by my Director for doing a great job..(I am not here to brag abt my achievements)I am just telling u my experiences.
this happened just by lessening the time I spend in the DB...
Imagine the wonders it would do if I stopped posting here entirely... |
