Manishi garu, there is lot of difference between just dealing with social setback and tackling effectively. Why only RNM, few others too tried to deal with problems faced in the society. But, in my opinion, KC's style is different. His taking is pretty much natural.

perhaps, a movie is not considered as complete, with out a couple of songs. However, one should admit that all of his movies carry situational songs, unlike many other movies.

I absolutely agree with you regarding this movie. But I read some where that thsi movie was based on a true story. In any case, this particular movie has the most unwelcoming climax, leave alone killing of the lead-pair, but the brutal rape scene was really painful to watch and definitely leaves indelible mark in the viewer's brain. Perhaps, one way KC was successful. |

Vennela garu, hmm variety, if you consider tackling social problems a variety , then there is nothing to argue ! Even R.narayana murthy tackles social problems without any duets on the lead pair.
BC is willing to add a commercial touch to his movies when it comes to songs but is adamant when it comes to happy ending why is that ? If he is soo fixated about being natural then why did he even put the songs in the first place ? well he wants to make the viewer feel happy for 2 hours and then when the viewer feels comfortable he kills the lead pair and thus making viewer coming out dejected !
I literally hated the rape scene in maro charithra after all the sacrifices done both by the lead pair. The last thing you need is a 10 min rape scene ! |

it is very common in most of the movies when it comes to hero & heroine, to have a duet picturisation. But when it comes to Balachander, apart from duets and songs, he adds some kind of
variety to the movie.
anthuleni kadha - heroine is a working girl, who has to support a family abandoned by the master of the house. Inorder to see all of her family in colours, she chooses to stay away from her pleasures.
aakali raajyam - unemployment problem
kokilamma - story of an excellent singer, who happens to fall prey to a cheat
idi katha kaadu - another excellent movie, with the story of a lady who comes across 3 types of men in her life
and so on.
What I mean to say is, every movie of his is different, as against regular routine stuff. |
