Story:
It is an action-based flick with a blend of family drama and love story. A simple story with a small twist is narrated in the best way possible with a few limitations.
Story:
The film starts with an interesting scene of a type that comprises in many action films. A lad kills a person and absconds from the place. He joins with a professional killer Rahul Dev. Another boy also comprises in the team of Rahul Dev. They involve in activities like bank robberies and murders. However, one of the lad grows up as Malli (Sonu Sood) and the other as Nanda Gopal (Mahesh Babu).
Shiva Reddy (Shiyaji Shinde) and his political friend Kota Sreenivasa Rao comprise in opposition party. They conspire a mission to get sympathy wave to the former in order to dethrone the existing CM. They come to conclusion that an attempt to murder on Shiva Reddy would give that sympathy wave. They hire Nanda Gopal for the mission to shoot professionally for 1.5 crore. But mystically someone else shoots Shiva Reddy to death at the same time. Fingers get pointed on Nanda Gopal.
Nanda Gopal escapes from police and gets into a train. His co-passenger Parthu (Rajiv Kanakala) introduces him and tells his whereabouts in a trivial conversation. Later the train halts at a station. A police bullet kills Parthu in an attempt to shoot Nanda Gopal.
Nanda Gopal escapes again from police and goes to Parthu¡¯s house in a village in the disguise of Parthu. The family members of Parthu mistake Nanda Gopal as their person as Parthu runs away from house in childhood. Nanda Gopal tastes the love and affection of family. He also falls in love with Trisha (originally Parthu¡¯s sister-in-law). A family drama with an action backdrop continues from this part of theme.
Prakash Raj, the CBI officer investigates Shiva Reddy¡¯s murder case and draws conclusion that Nanda Gopal was the culprit and he was living in the disguise of another person in a village, Basarlapudi.
The story takes many twists and turns from then. The film concludes after unleashing the real murderer and the reasons behind.
Performance:
The performance of all the artistes is in right mix with the theme of the film. Trisha¡¯s histrionics are quite similar to that of her previous movie ¡®Varsham¡¯ and ¡®NVNV¡¯. Mahesh maintained poise through out the film and performed to the required extent effectively.
Mani Sarma¡¯s music, Peter Heins¡¯ action and cinematography stand unique for the film. Trivikaram¡¯s dialogues tickle audience off and on.
Minus Points:
Although director tried to maintain the suspense through out the film, the suggestive scenes those facilitate the audiences to predict the climax mar the apprehension. Director would have taken more care in screenplay as it turned everybody¡¯s guess to predict the real culprit. Dialogues would have been more powerful and convincing to suit the tempo and seriousness of the film. The film lacks seriousness and conviction in story line at the climax. Hero of the film is projected with negative shade and the reason for him to turn as a professional killer wasn¡¯t established. Teenagers, who try to make their real life imitating the one from reel stories may come to conclusion that ¡®professional killer¡¯ is a crazy and trendy profession. The film lacks in social responsibility in this matter.
Analysis:
The film shows equal impact in all A, B and C centers. But the less gripping story line may disturb the durability and long running of the film. |
