Anand’ fame Kamalinin Mukharjee is offered to do an important role in K Raghavendra Rao’s bio-periodic film, Sri Ramadasu. She is asked to play Seeta in the film. But interestingly, she is yet to accept it.
She is in dilemma as to give her nod to this film or not. For she is said to have been asked by her mentor Shekar Kammula not to do any other film while she is on for his next film, Godavari. She has signed on to do the female lead in Kammula’s film that starts from August end.
Shekar prefers his artistes to work for his film only when the film is under production so that they could concentrate on the film more.
Sri Ramadasu has been facing casting problems. While Nagarjuna is gearing up for the film’s shoot to play the title role, actor for the all important role of Lord Rama has not yet been confirmed.
The film’s heroine was also replaced. Sneha had stepped in the place of Jyothika. |
